CCrawfordWriting's OTHER Stories

So, as all of us here know, those of us who are here are CCrawfordWriting's super-fans (yay us!). We've read Crystal's amazing writing, and we've enjoyed so much of what she has given us. She's an amazing writer, and her most popular book, "I'm Not A Stalker!", deserves all of the love that it's getting. Really. It's amazing (as we all know).

However, I do believe that many of her other works are greatly under-appreciated. So, in this forum, we're gonna talk about Crystal Crawford's OTHER stories and give them all of the love they deserve too! I'll start. (And hey Crystal, if you wanna say anything about your other works too, feel free to do so! :D)

The story that I believe to be Crystal's most under-rated work is probably, "The Child". If you haven't read it, it's a creepy tale about a woman who wakes up in a hospital having recently given birth but believes that there is something wrong with her newborn son. This story took me through one heck of a ride, with a dozen twists and turns in each new chapter - a perpetual cliffhanger, if you will, that lasted until the very end of the story. It was an intense, spine-chilling ride for sure, but it's one that you won't regret.

But that's just my choice. What was yours? Was it the humorous tale, "When Strangers Feed You," or maybe the haunting short story, "The Song of the Siren"? Let the fabulous Crystal Crawford and all of us super-fans know in the forum conversation. :)

Thank you so much, BatBeth! It's great to see some of my other stories getting some love. :) I am curious if anyone else has read my stories other than the Stalker series!

No probs, Mrs. Crystal! I love love love all of your works, and I'm excited as well to see your other works get the love they deserve. <3

I haven't read The Child because I am really not into the horror genre, but I am currently reading the short story called Brush Strokes because I thought it sounded like an interesting idea!

I only just started though, I'll say more when I have finished!

I have so many books to read and cannot decide which book of Crystal to start with!! I have read the entire Stalkers series and a few of her short stories as well so are there any recommendations out here??

@anjinirola Thanks for reading so much of my stuff! I'm working on the e-book version of the Stalker series now, which will include some never-before-seen bonus stuff, so when that's ready, you may be interested in that! In the meantime, you can check out Mad Lit on Wattpad... it's a quirky little thing but I think it's fun. Or there's always my blog! Those are my suggestions, but other readers may have more. :)

@anjinirola Having read a ton of Mrs. C's works, I know that it's definitely going to be hard to pick which one to read first. I had the same struggle. XD But obviously, I highly recommend her horror story, "The Child," but if that's not your thing, "When Strangers Feed You" is hilarious and such a great story. Hope that helps some!

  • Hello! So if you have signed up to the newsletter, you have probably downloaded the story "Let it burn" in Megs' POV. Seeing as it is not on Wattpad, meaning we can't comment, I thought it might be cool to discuss what you thought about it here... I personally thought that in some ways it is understandable why Megs is the way she is. I mean, what Anissa did to her was not the nicest of things and she also went through the whole thing with her parents. Poor Megs! But I also think that the way she talks about herself at the start (about being truthful and not mean) isn't true... you don't have to tell other people's secrets to be truthful (like when she told everyone about SA in the email chain) and she ALWAYS concentrates on the negative things... So that is what I thought! (I was also glad that she doesn't insult my baby Hunter!)
