Writing takes time.

And time is money.

I love writing, but the amount of time I'm able to devote to it is directly proportional to how much support and income I make from it. It stinks, I know! But it's the truth. If I'm not able to make an income with my writing, eventually I'll have to scale back. And that will be a sad, sad day. (Such is the life of an indie author, alas.)
